4. Prices and payment

Prices for our products are correct at the time of listing. We reserve the right to change the price of any product at any time without notice and if we discover an error in the prices listed for goods we will not be under obligation to sell at that price. Prices on product pages do not include VAT because we are not required to charge VAT. They exclude delivery charges, which are added during the checkout process. They are displayed before you decide to place an order.

Please note that discount offers and codes cannot be used on sale items.

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express debit and credit card; by PayPal; and by purchase order.

If you pay by debit or credit card, payment information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. The payment gateway meets all PCI-DSS requirements and additional generally accepted industry standards. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Once complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Unfortunately the transmission of data over the internet is not completely secure. We will keep details of your order secure in so far as it is in our power, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to data you provide when you are accessing or ordering through our website. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

You warrant that the credit/debit card you use is yours, or that you have authorisation from the owner to use it. You also warrant that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered. All credit and debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

If you pay by PayPal, you will be directed to the PayPal site to log into your account and complete the order as usual. We’re sorry but security rules mean we can only send your order to the address that appears on your transaction details page.

We accept school purchase orders. The process is straightforward and involves us creating an account for you and validating the purchase order number and school details before we process your order and despatch the goods. We will include a paper invoice with your order and send an electronic version to the account email address. You must pay the invoice in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Payment should be made by direct transfer to The Poster Point bank account given on the invoice or by sending a cheque to The Poster Point, 12 Stockdale Walk, Knaresborough, HG5 8DZ.
